HARMONIA RETREAT PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT & WAIVER
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that participating in the Harmonia Retreat involves activities that may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, allergic reactions, or unpredictable environmental conditions. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation.
2. HEALTH & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
I affirm that I am in good health and capable of participating in all retreat activities. I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions to the retreat organizers. I understand that the retreat is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, and facilitators are not responsible for diagnosing or treating medical or mental health conditions. If I require medical attention, I agree to seek appropriate care at my own expense.
3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I release and discharge Harmonia Retreat, its facilitators, staff, venue owners, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in the retreat, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or financial loss.
4. CONFIDENTIALITY & RESPECT
I agree to maintain a respectful environment for all participants. I understand that personal sharing and experiences within the retreat are confidential and will not disclose others’ private information outside of the retreat.
5. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE
I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. I grant permission for my image to be used in retreat-related materials unless I opt out by informing the organizers in writing before the retreat begins.
6. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
To reserve a spot for the retreat, I must submit the required registration materials and a non-refundable deposit as specified on the Harmonia Retreat website. If registration is submitted after the deposit due date, the total payment must be made to secure my spot. I acknowledge that failure to provide all required materials may result in the loss of my reservation.
7. ACCOMMODATIONS & MEALS
I acknowledge that Harmonia Retreat is not responsible for any issues or changes related to accommodations during the retreat. I understand that I stay at the chosen location at my own risk. I have disclosed any dietary restrictions or allergies to the organizers and understand that while care will be taken to accommodate these, the retreat is not liable for any illness resulting from food consumption.
8. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
I understand that retreat payments are non-refundable but may be transferable to a future retreat under certain circumstances. If the retreat is canceled by the organizers, I will receive a full refund. If I choose to withdraw from the retreat for any reason, I acknowledge that no refunds will be issued.
9. CODE OF CONDUCT
I agree to participate with respect, integrity, and mindfulness toward myself, other participants, and facilitators. Disruptive or harmful behavior may result in my dismissal from the retreat without a refund.
10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This agreement is governed by the laws of California, and any disputes will be resolved through mediation before legal action is pursued.
